Anatomy of a Cdblade

Every millimeter has a job

  • 01

    Bevelled edge

Ground thin at the front to slide cleanly under eggs, fish and smashed patties.

  • 02

    Slotted blade

Lets oil and fat drain away so food stays crisp, not greasy.

  • 03

    Spring steel

Flexes under pressure and snaps back straight — no permanent bends.

Cdblade spatula anatomy
  • 04

    Full-tang build

The steel runs the length of the handle, held by three rivets. No wobble, ever.

  • 05

    Cool-touch grip

A contoured handle that stays comfortable during long cooks.

  • 06

    Hanging loop

Hang it on a rail by the stove so it's always within reach.

The heat test

How hot is your pan?

Drag the slider to your cooking temperature and see which material can take it. Searing, smashing and wok hei all run hotter than you think.

Cdblade spatula craftsmanship
Made for the line

Tools that earn their spot by the stove

We design for the cooks who reach for the same spatula every night. Every Cdblade goes through three steps before it reaches your kitchen.

  • 01

    Cut

Blades are cut from a single sheet of 18/8 stainless steel for consistent strength.

  • 02

    Grind

The front edge is bevelled thin so it slips under food instead of pushing it.

  • 03

    Finish

Every edge is polished smooth, then the handle is riveted on and checked by hand.

Thin enough to get under a whole trout without breaking the skin. Best spatula I've owned, period.

Smash burgers on the griddle every Saturday. The edge scrapes up every bit of crust. Zero flex where it matters.

Bought the set for my husband's birthday and now I use them more than he does. Solid, no wobble, dishwasher safe.

Care guide

Treat it right, it lasts for years

  • Dishwasher safe

Top rack is best. Hand-washing keeps edges sharpest for longest.

  • Know your heat

Use silicone tools within their rated temperature; switch to steel for searing.

  • Right pan, right tool

Silicone and nylon for non-stick. Stainless for cast iron, carbon steel and griddles.

  • Hang to dry

Dry fully and hang by the loop — no rattling around in a drawer.

Questions

Straight answers

[email protected]
01Which spatula should I use on non-stick?
Use the Flex Silicone Turner — the silicone edge won't scratch coatings. Save the stainless tools for cast iron, carbon steel, stainless pans and griddles.
02How hot can the tools get?
Our silicone parts are rated up to 600°F. Stainless steel blades can handle any normal cooking temperature. Never leave any tool resting in a hot pan or near an open flame.
03Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes — top rack is best. Hand-washing and drying right away will keep the edges in top shape for longer.
04Is the front edge sharp?
The front edge is bevelled thin to slide under food. It isn't a knife, but handle it with care and keep it away from children.
05Shipping and returns?
Free shipping on orders over $39 (a flat $4.99 below that). Unused tools in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and every tool has a 1-year warranty against defects. See our Returns & Refund Policy.
